About Us
Operated by Beach Cities Health District, AdventurePlex is an award-winning fitness center for kids and their families. AdventurePlex opened its doors in 2002, becoming the South Bay’s first fitness center created especially for youth. Filled with mazes, tunnels, outdoor rock climbing walls, complex ropes courses, an indoor gymnasium and spacious fitness room, AdventurePlex challenges children physically and intellectually through recreational activities offered in a safe, structured environment.
With an array of experiential learning programs and classes, AdventurePlex also provides a great place for young people to gain age-appropriate skills and lay a solid foundation for the future.
